Why I started reading Manga. 3 Reasons why you should too! (No.3 is a gift)

MANGA: Book -It refers to the Japanese comic style that is followed in their narratives. It has a unique style of presenting the graphics.

ANIME: Translated literally to animation in Japanese, it refers to the animation produced from Japan that usually follows certain aspects such as its stunning graphics, fantasy oriented elements and their unique characters.

Both Manga and Anime has become popular in the current scenario because it developed the notion that cartoons and comics needn't necessarily be only meant for kids. Even adults can partake and enjoy them.

It's funny now that I think about it on how I discovered Manga. It was one of those long school breaks that I spend binge watching on YouTube. Quite by accident, I started to come across anime- the shoujo (stories targeted towards girls) kind. I still remember watching Vampire Knight and Kaichou wa Maid-Sama! To this day Maid-Sama! remains as one of my most favourite manga/anime series ever.

The problem arises when some of these anime series leave you at a cliffhanger or they're not completed, or the anime ends before the manga is completed, or finally the worst the series abruptly ends. That is what happened when I watched I watched Maid-Sama! While the anime was fantastic it ended without a conclusion and I was sure that something was missing. It was such a good story that I went on a Sherlock mode to search for any more episodes that I might have missed out on. They were of no use, the series were truly done... but not the manga. The series was completed and I was finally able to read the entire story to my hearts content.

Since I have managed to capture your attention, here are my top 3 reasons on why everyone should start reading Manga, or at least give it a try.

Reason 1: Not only do you get to read a good story, you get to have amazing visuals to go with it too! As mentioned before, just because it's animated does not mean it's meant for kids. You'll be surprised at how developed the plots and characters are - still not sure? Why don't you start with Maid-Sama! or Bleach? Great options to start your manga/anime journey.

Reason 2: This might sound repetitive, but there's usually a manga for every kind of story you can think of. Don't believe me? Just search for the different genres under manga. Other than just Shoujo and Shonen, there's Josei, Yaoi and so many more. There is a genre lurking around that is perfect for you, just go find it. It's an added benefit that you'll find the completed story of your favourite anime when you venture into manga.

Reason 3: You get to read it for free! That's right! Websites like http://www.mangahere.cc/ and https://mangairo.com/ that let's you read manga for free. You can even download the apps on your phone and read and download your favourite comics whenever you want.
